Upon arrival in Hawaii, you will be asked to present your QR code to airport personnel either on paper or on your mobile phone, along with a photo ID. Upon your completion of the form, a QR code will be emailed to you for each leg of your trip. Once you receive your negative pre-travel test, you are required to upload the result to your Safe Travels Hawaii account.Hawaii will only accept test results from this list of travel partners and should be taken no more than 72 hours before your flight time. All travelers ages five and up will be required to take a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab in order to bypass the State of Hawai‘i’s 14-day mandatory quarantine.

The traveller must still be screened and a green checkmark will appear next to ‘Screened: Yes’ after the screening process is completed. Once their exemption documentation has been accepted, their QR code will turn green.
